Although facing many complex challenges, Brazil is today a hotbed of innovation and progressive experimentation across multiple sectors. Development practitioners, urban planners, agricultural and health specialists and communication and education experts around the world are increasingly looking to Brazil for examples of cutting-edge social technology.

This short report features an array of tried and tested innovations from Brazil that could have applicability for Haiti as it regains its footing after the devastating January 2010 earthquake.
