O OKA chega ao Equador

After successful launches in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Roraima, OKA, an app focused at expanding access to services for migrants and refugees, arrives in Ecuador. With the support of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the app was launched aiming to facilitate the integration of migrants to essential services. The app is free and independent of internet connection.

OKA gives information on services offered by public agencies and civil society all across Ecuador. In addition to government services, it also provides a list of support communities and emergency channels. The mapped programs cover categories such as health, employment, entrepreneurship, social assistance, housing and legal assistance.
