Michele dos Ramos

Michele Gonçalves dos Ramos has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the University of São Paulo (Brazil) and a Master’s in International Security from Sciences Po (France). She was honored with the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and France and the Émile Boutmy Excellence Scholarship from Sciences Po.

Michele has worked on different projects on education and violence prevention at UNESCO – Headquarters, the International Bureau of Education (IBE), and the International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP). Michele was also an academic coordinator of the Euro-Latin American campus of Sciences Po, where she lectured on post-conflict transition contexts and violence prevention.

She is currently a Special Adviser at the Igarapé Institute, working mainly in topics such as public security and criminal justice in Brazil.
