Michele dos Ramos
Michele Gonçalves dos Ramos holds a Bachelor in International Relations from University of São Paulo (Brazil) and a Master in International Security from Sciences Po (France), for which she was granted two scholarships (French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs’ Eiffel Excellence Scholarship and Sciences Po Émile Boutmy Excellence Scholarship). She is currently a visiting student in the PhD program in Political Science at Sciences Po.
She has worked as research assistant in projects on education, violence prevention and reconstruction at UNESCO – Headquarters, International Bureau of Education (IBE) and International Institute of Educational Planning (IIEP). Michele is also the former Academic coordinator of Sciences Po Euro-Latin-American campus, where she taught undergraduate seminar classes on the challenges of peacebuilding and violence prevention.
Her main areas of interest are public security policies and the interconnections between their national and international levels, and the linkages between education and violence reduction.
