Fatima Yerima Askira is the Founder/Executive Director of Borno Women Development Initiative, a registered NGO that aims to empower women to play a constructive role in creating a peaceful and ignorant-free environment. She is actively engaged in providing educational opportunities and counseling services to the displaced women and children in Borno and Yobe states, north-eastern Nigeria. She has participated in many CVE programs, notably: Bring Back Our Girls Movement.
