Episode 3: an interview Lina Zedriga

Lina Zedriga is the Secretary Uganda National Committee for the Prevention and Punishment of Genocide and Mass Atrocity Crimes and all Forms of Discrimination (UNCP-GMA) and Director Women Peace and Security Regional Associates for Community Initiatives (RACI.)

Ms Lina’s wide-ranging background includes extensive experience as a Judicial Officer, Women peace and security Advocate, social-justice and social inclusion activist, policy analyst, researcher and educator specialising in Women Peace and Security, policy and issues affecting vulnerable groups especially in conflict and post conflict situations. Most of her work is in prevention of violence against women, participation in peace building, promotion and protection women’s rights – with girl child, female youth, women and local/grass roots communities as stakeholders and equal partners and not “victims”.
