Laura Trajber Waisbich

Laura is Senior Researcher at the Igarapé Institute. She holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Cambridge and a Research Master’s in Political Science from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po Paris). She has more than ten years of research and policy experience in issues related to International Development Cooperation, Brazilian Foreign Policy, Social Policy, Citizen Participation and Human Rights. In the past she worked for non-governmental human rights organisations and research centres in Brazil, Belgium, United States and the United Kingdom. She is currently research associate with the Brazilian Centre for Analysis and Planning (Cebrap) and the South-South Cooperation Research and Policy Centre (Articulação SUL).
