Beatriz Alqueres

Beatriz Alquérez is Project Coordinator at Igarapé. Pedagogue (PUC-RIO), Psyco-Pedagogue (CEPERJ) and expert in Business Administration (FGV), she worked in various sectors of public and private educational area. At the Department of Education for the city of Rio de Janeiro was manager of strategic projects as Educopédia, a platform for digital lessons, and “Cidade Educadora” promoting the establishment of partnerships with national and international civil society. Since 2010 is member of the Board of Education of the Commercial Association of Rio de Janeiro. Between 2013-2016 she worked on the development and articulation of the political strategy of the Global Commission on Drug Policy in Latin America.
