Peter Smith holds a B.A. in Sociology from Princeton University and an M.A. in Sociology from the University of São Paulo.
His experience includes monitoring and evaluating public interest programs and consulting with non-profits on how to use cloud technologies to track impact and optimize operations.
Peter joined Igarapé’s Climate Security team in January 2022 and currently leads research on topics such as the bioeconomy and soft commodities.
